Founded in 1884, Bangor University is a public research university based in Bangor, Gwynedd, on the North Wales coast. It began as the University College of North Wales and later developed into today’s Bangor University, with teaching and research grouped across academic schools. The university offers a wide range of undergraduate, postgraduate and research programmes and supports learning with library and specialist facilities across its Bangor and Wrexham sites
